A great weekend

Friday, the kids and I received a special gift, hubbers surprised us by taking the day off!   Hubbers and I each got to go the to the gym, then we went to the Natural History museum.  We all had a blast (Loki slept the whole time) and Jeanne brought home a new dinosaur cup and a dinosaur sticker book.  A tradition started with the Eric Carle sticker book, which allowed Daddy and Jeanne to put a new sticker in place each night before bed, so we got her a new book, a dinosaur one!

Saturday, the parents got to the gym again, then we went to the pool.  Saturday night Jeanne spent the night at Granma's house, while Daddy put together a mini kitchen for Jeanne.  That little bugger took forever (a little wine helped), while I cleaned (yes CLEANED) the house.  It looked all sparkly and shiny!

Sunday Jeanne saw her new kitchen set, and played with it all day.  Despite the high 80 temps outside, we could not tempt her to go outside to ride her bike or go to the pool, she played with her kitchen all day!

We really had a wonderful weekend, bu unfortunately, hubbers and I have a little bug, a sore throat and a general feeling of ick.  Hope it passes soon!
