Where has daddy gone?

Comminication is key

Jeanne has been 'reading' books to herself for a while now, and it is a blast to watch.  She will turn the pages, point at images, and talk to the books.  She has, I think, grocked the deal with nodding your head 'yes' and 'no'.  She woke up a bit earlier than usual this morning, sat up, mde some whining noises, I looked at her and asked "Do you want some milk?", she nodded 'yes', and we nursed.



When she was finished, she sat back up, looked at Daddy, and with a BIG smile, said 'Hi!", then she turned to me and said "Hi".  We of course said Hi back, and we all giggled.

11 months huh?

Wow, did that happen fast!  All is well with Jeannie bean.  She still hasn't mastered walking, but she loves to do laps around the house while holding mummy's or daddy's hands.  This week, Jeanne has been 'talking' non-stop.  She still has her own language, but she is very clearly trying to communicate.  She is nodding her head 'yes' or 'no' when we ask her questions, and has mastered the 'point'.  She gets that when she points to something, the parents focus their eyes and speak to her about objects in that area.

We still have no teeth..... which is just fine really, we're still nursing and she eats like mama does, so all is well!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been writing my thesis at home while Jeanne still goes to daycare.  I'll have hubbers upload pics soon so I can update those too.
