A Birthday Party

Today Jeanne visited a second cousin for a big birthday party.  Although it took her 10-15 minutes to remember everyone, she soon relaxed and enjoyed playing with her two older cousins.    Her cousins were sweet enough to share their super fun balloons, cupcakes, and the all too yummy tacos!  Jeanne loved her vanilla cupcake and ice cream!  Even though Jeanne has the same appetite her mummy has, she was having too much fun with her cousins to spend too much time eating.

Mummy had a great time seeing everyone too, even though I don't get the time to talk and hang out like I used to.  It was really great seeing everyone, and we had a fantastic time.

On the way home Jeanne sat happily, playing with her new block toy, until she fell asleep, her hand still griping the toy. Thanks to both her second cousins for being so generous and giving of their old toys and books.  Jeanne and I really do love and cherish them.

Doctor's visit today

Just a check-up.  Jeanne weighs 18 pounds 6 ounces, and is 27.5" long.  She was a trooper when getting her blood drawn, not a peep!  Since she is going through a growth spurt (10 ounces in 3 weeks!), she is eating pureed/table food every 3 hours, and still nursing every 3 hours.  And, she does all this eating without a single tooth!  Although I love nursing Jeanne, she requires more than I can provide for her now.  I must begin giving her formula at daycare.

Now that Jeanne is crawling, and fast, this weekend will be filled with putting in door locks, taping down wires and the like.
